Why this petition matters
On September 7th, 2020 it was announced via Jackson Publick's Twitter that Venture Bros would not get a season 8 as it had been unceremoniously cancelled after 17 years by the new executives at Adult Swim. Since 2003, The Venture Bros has amassed a giant fan base spanning across the globe. Season 7 was award-winning and set up many cliffhangers for Season 8, which was rumored to be the final season. The creators, Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick, were half way through writing the new season. (Doc Hammer had some health concerns) When Adult Swim cancelled a show that drew in big numbers for them.
The goal of this petition is to hopefully get Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max or Comedy Central to pick up this series and give it the proper conclusion that it deserves. Venture Bros is a truly original story in a world of sequels and reboots and it would be a shame to see such a creative endeavor ended for no reason. Let these companies know we will watch Venture Bros wherever it lands and support it forever! Please, Netflix/Amazon/HBO Max, be our Brock Samson and SAVE THE VENTURE BROS!
