Such a petition was already launched on this site, but in the end it was closed, and all that HMD Global did was to allow unlocking the bootloader only for Nokia 8, which was clearly not what all the enthusiasts and developers who signed that petition were expecting. Therefore, I am launching a petition demanding to allow unlocking the bootloader for all Nokia smartphones where possible. The advantages of unlocking the bootloader have already been discussed in the petition I mentioned above, but to be brief, unlocking the bootloader will allow you to install any custom firmware and in any other way modify the smartphone that you bought with your own money, and you have the right to use it the way you want, even in case of loss of warranty.

Also, unlocking the bootloader will allow you to repair the smartphone yourself, which for me and other people who understand smartphones will be better than paying for what we can do ourselves.

So far, you cannot unlock the bootloader, only if you pay for it to those who have access to OST LA, but I think it is wrong to have to pay for full access to an already purchased phone. If you too - support my petition and / or share it with your friends, only together we can change something.
