End the punitive charges for the AppConnect onboard entertainment system. 

Volkswagen is supposed to exemplify the car with modest luxuries for the middle-class masses. The current £200 charge for retrospective installation of AppConnect, which offers only the most basic ability to connect android and iOS smartphones to your car, is not part of this image.

Appconnect should be standard and free for all VW vehicles which support it. This customer-phobic practice serves to do nothing other than alienate VW drivers. Does Volkswagen now see itself more akin to low-end brands such as Ryanair, where one must pay £50 for one piece of 23kg luggage, and more if you want an actual seat?

Connecting your phone to your car is not a 'premium' feature. It is the bare minimum now. Get with the times. 

How can Volkswagen hope to compete against the likes of Tesla or BMW who offer all of this feature by default?
