UPDATE:  We are now asking for clarification on the documents released on 14 Sept 2020 stating that amateur choirs could be breaking the law, with specific reference to the word "mingling".  We want clarification as in mid-August we were given the go ahead.  We have sat and watched pubs open, planes fly, sport resume - it is now our turn.

Singing is an important part of so many people’s lives in the UK - bringing together, in local communities, those whose paths may otherwise not cross and enabling friendship and companionship.  That along with the health benefits - both physical and mental - we now need a roadmap that sees the return of Choir Singing to our communities as they have not been able to do so since March 2020.

It should not be left to an individual choir leader to decide when it is safe to return.
