The current situation in the world with RACISM. It is highlighting that there needs to be a systematic change with each and every institution across the country. 

From schools to road workers. From politicians to retail workers. Everyone needs Anti-Racist training. It is only through education and awareness that we can make a change. It starts with us.

As a non-white secondary school teacher, we go through 'racism' very basically with the students, with no depth of history. For the past decade when I go through this one slide created (usually by a Caucasian teacher), I've always thought, "The staff need to be educated with Anti-racism first and foremost, then only can they educate students." Having had inherent racist comments AS A TEACHER from teaching staff throughout the decade, I can only imagine ALL institutions need to be educated.

I believe most people want to be educated but due to generational ideology of white supremacy - they have no idea what they may say or do that may seem "racist". We're in an age where ignorance is no longer a reason to turn a blind eye to racism, only awareness and education can make positive change.
