Government is doing their very  best to mitigate the damage done by Covid-19 .One exception to the 'shelter in place' motion needs to be the allowance of golf played recreationally and for the purpose of mental and physical well-being. Social distancing will be required .Pro shops will remain closed. Public courses can require contactless payment on the 1st tee /starter shack or prepayment and would  allow those courses to get up and running financially.Each player can take their own cart and the carts can be thoroughly sanitized before and  after each use,pins removed,cups raised so as not to touch the cup,no rakes in the bunkers,no rental equipment,and no water coolers,Other measures can be enacted as needed.Golf is a much needed mental ,emotional and physical release during this stressful time.This will also give public clubs some much needed revenue and of course sales tax to the state.
