In 2021/2022, if you love Equestria Girls... then it’s about that time we must have a spin-off or maybe some spin-off specials for Season 3 with the Crystal Prep Academy Shadowbolts!! Starring in “The New Adventures of Crystal Prep”, an American-Canadian animated comedy-drama adventure television series brought to you by Hasbro Studios and Boulder Media.

The Mane 6 have always been the main characters, so it’s about that time to have some new characters become some. Honestly, the Shadowbolts’ potential has been wasted so much, which some people were outraged or maybe even just frankly disappointed about how they did not get enough screen-time or characterization. Though they may have made some pretty bad mistakes in the past but it’s time to say goodbye to that, you don’t have to feel it anymore because deep down... these girls are more than you think they are.

Come and join Indigo Zap, Lemon Zest, Sunny Flare, Sugarcoat, Sour Sweet, and other students from Crystal Prep on their many new adventures together. Things at Crystal Prep Academy have been going just fine ever since Principal Cadence has taken over. However, the girls have been feeling kind of guilty and somehow isolated since their old friend, Twilight Sparkle (also known as “Sci-Twi”) transferred to Canterlot High School, they need the time to set things right and start over again. Next thing they know, there are some situations or unexpected conflicts that may occur, in which the girls must use what they currently know about friendship to make Crystal Prep Academy a much better place.

Meet the girls of Crystal Prep:

- Indigo Zap, the tomboyish athlete who goes extreme in her athletic skill and takes on the big challenges that are risky, but she is not afraid to take a stand. She even goes on adventures like she’s living life dangerously, which the rest of the girls often get worn out by.

- Lemon Zest, the upbeat rock girl who may have loud and humorous nature but she is ultimately sweet and laidback, however, she learns about the serious things in life and knows that bad days can be part of them. She tries hard to avoid conflict and stay optimistic but has to take things seriously when they have to be.

- Sunny Flare, the dramatic fashionista who loves perfume and the latest trends, she can be a little out of control when it comes to being hopelessly romantic. She feels speechless and clumsy while making an impression with a crush and gets afraid that she might embarrass herself.

- Sugarcoat, the blunt scientist who can sometimes have life-challenging experiences and likes to discover new things in the environment, she must do the best she can when something becomes too hard for her. She is the most serious of the group and can be stubborn when she is fixated on getting her homework done and wants to be alone.

- Sour Sweet, the candy girl who can be real sweet but short-tempered at times, it can be hard for her and her sweet tooth when she experiences certain kinds of treatments at the dentist. However, she is able to find a way to adjust to trying other things when she can’t have candy, depending on what kind of dental treatments she got.
