We have been playing Homefront since the first day it came out on ps3 and we were absolutely devastated to hear that the servers were shut down when THQ went bankrupt. Crytek have acquired the rights to the Homefront franchise and said they would bring the servers back but they haven't. Crytek then sold the rights to Koch Media which has been purchased by THQ Nordic. After playing the game as long as I have, the nostalgia that I feel for the game can be very overwhelming. It is a bitter disappointment to me as this is one of my favorite games to play online with my friends.

Homefront has outstanding multiplayer. The battle points system, which is an in game currency that allowed us to buy gear, weapons, and vehicles. The more objectives we completed and more kills we racked up, The more points we were able to use to purchase more weapons, gear, drones or even larger and much more expensive items such as helicopters and tanks. The game modes were phenomenal and the multiplayer became addicting very quick. We truly miss the challenge, thrill and excitement that this game has brought us.

We would like the THQ Nordic to reopen the multiplayer servers so the online portion of the game can be accessible again and to make the online pass available. From the main menu of the game when trying to select online multiplayer, It takes you straight back to the main menu as if nothing happened and we need the online pass to become available again because without it we won't be able to surpass level 5. There are 75 levels total and rising through the ranks is the only way to unlock more vehicles, gear, and weapons to spend battle points on. The Multiplayer was by far the best part of the game and it is very heartbreaking for us all that the servers are in the state that they are in now. We have been promised that the servers would come back and have already been let down. We haven't even received word back on when they will be available again. The best feature of the game to be shut down is detrimental not only to the enjoyment of Homefront, but to the hearts of the players. Please allow us to play Homefront online again. Thank you.
