In 2017, despite the fact that the Community had long been asking for more folder features, Spotify removed the ability to shuffle and play through all of the tracks in a playlist folder on mobile devices. The result is a nearly unusable system: folders are only somewhat useful on the desktop client. The Community is fed up with being constantly told that our ideas are unimportant. 

These are the features we, the Spotify Community, demand to be implemented:

- Regain the ability to shuffle play through all the playlists in a folder on mobile devices

- Ability to add the same playlist to multiple folders

- Ability to share our folders and make our folders "public"

- Ability to change the cover photo of our folder

Spotify's under-appreciation of its folder feature has been a long source of frustration for many users. Spotify not only continues to ignore this vastly utilized feature, but has also continuously downgraded existing folder utilities. A system of organizing playlists is vital to any music streaming platform - it opens up a variety of avenues for things such as music discovery, playlist making, etc.
