By adhering to the Mayor's Transport Strategy which omits Taxis from all major new road schemes in London, Camden Council are revamping Tottenham Court Road into a two-way Buses and cycles only route, excluding (Black cabs) Licensed London Taxis.

After a lengthy Tottenham Court Road consultation, University College Hospital, the Grafton Hotel, businesses and over 60% of local residents chose to include Taxis into the scheme. Camden ignored them, because it did not fit in with Sadiq Khan's anti Taxi agenda.

Taxis are a self sufficient, clean, wheelchair accessible, door to door service, driven by Knowledgeable drivers.

Buses are privately owned companies, subsidised by the public, with an atrocious safety record.

Taxis want access into Tottenham Court Road.
