Maldon District Council have given our Yacht Club a stay of execution for a year. With everything going on at the moment, this is the very least they could have done. 

We will continue to promote this petition and when the appropriate time comes we will present our feelings to Maldon District Council as a community.

Maldon District Council have served Maldon Yacht Club with their eviction notice.

There was no negotiation on rental terms, no prior notice and they are not forthcoming for any helpful negotiations.

The Club has been situated on their current premises for 46 years. The Club is well used, popular and deserve better than this.
