The Outer Link circular bus route in Auckland serves the needs of local residents, from St. Lukes, through Eden Quarter to Newmarket, including school children, the elderly, workers, shoppers and tourists and provides integrity to the entire transport network because it crosses virtually every radial bus route.

Auckland Transport are seeking a second time to try to cut the link for ill-conceived reasons that have no planning integrity after public objections stopped it in 2015.

This will seriously disrupt bus services in the Eden Quarter replacing a direct continuous cross-town service with time wasting multiple transfers, in contradiction to the increasing needs of efficient public transport in Auckland.

We need urgently to keep the service intact!
