Over the past six years we have seen the Nubian Square Coalition, as a program of the Black Community Information Center Incorporated, lead a historic campaign that saw Dudley Square being renamed,  with the former Dudley Station now NUBIAN STATION!! Our next objective is to rename the library in Nubian Square, which in a corrupt process was given the name Roxbury Library without community consultation/participation or input in making the library name change decision!!

"Up you mighty community you can accomplish what you will. Please sign and share this petition with family and friends "Time is of the essence" and it is time for our library to be named "for the people and by the people" continue the legacy and to build racial esteem, community pride and have a greater input in what goes into our neighborhoods where we live. 

"The BPL Board of Directors wrote the BCIC Black Community Information Center (we have 2 documents on hand), there would be a community meeting, before the renaming of the library, it never happened, they lied!! 

The Nubian Square Coalition and its supporters DEMAND, that Roxbury Branch Library name be declared null and void. 

We want the name to be NUBIAN LIBRARY...
