A Scotland Yard investigation has ruled in favour of a woman, known only as Jessica, who alleges Cllr Andy Coles, “groomed and manipulated” her at the age of 19, while he was operating as an under cover police officer.

It's worth noting, that since this news came to light, Mr Coles has ALREADY resigned as the Deputy Police Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and also stepped down as Cabinet Member for Children's Services at Peterborough City Council.

The recent police inquiry said Mr Coles would have faced a disciplinary hearing on a charge of gross misconduct if he had not already retired from the Metropolitan police in 2013.

And as the media reported, "An officer found guilty of gross misconduct is likely to be sacked."
