Future Now Fund helped Hester Jackson McCray upset Republican Ashley Henley by 14 votes, making Jackson McCray the only African American to represent a majority white district in the state. 

Now, Henley’s asking Republicans in the state House to overturn the election — after it’s been certified by the state! 

We stand with Hester, and will continue to shine a light on Mississippi to ensure that this election is upheld and that Representative-Elect Jackson McCray is seated in Jackson.
