The time has never been better to Re-Establish Rail Service to West Chester. 

West Chester has a direct need for Rail Service between the Borough and Philadelphia. From improving traffic congestion, to providing accessible commuter transit for workers and students, from drastically reducing local carbon emissions, to increasing economic opportunities for West Chester  -- the reasons are countless. 

As Mayor of West Chester, I have diligently fought for a Rail Service. Now, we need your help. We've heard you, and we've listened. We're providing an avenue to have your support shown. Your name on this petition is invaluable to this movement.

A SEPTA study in 2018 showed that 70% of passengers would be new, and cost-per-passenger is within line with the Southeast PA region. The project would enhance local and regional connectivity, serve as a cost-effective alternative, increase transit ridership / support economic development, and would have positive effects on the environment.

President Biden's infrastructure plan is set to allocate over $160 billion to passenger rail nationally. All eyes are on improvements to public transit, and West Chester is closer than ever to receiving support for Re-Establishment of Rail Service.
