More than 140,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 in just the last four months. Tens of thousands more will die in the coming months.

The vast majority of these Americans should not have died. Of every one million people in the country, 109 have died from COVID-19 in Germany, 47 in Norway, 8 in Japan, 6 in South Korea, and 3 in China, and the death has largely stopped in these and many other countries. That number is 429 in the US today and it is going up.

The vast majority of these Americans died because many politicians in US federal, state and local governments blatantly ignored public health advice and refused to implement life-saving policies that had been shown to work repeatedly.

Hold these politicians accountable. Depending on their individual actions and positions, vote them out, impeach them, demote them, fire them, or prosecute them.
