Before the pandemic, public meetings were being held via Zoom or another electronic medium. Now, meetings are only held in-person.  This is a cynical attempt to stifle public participation in the governmental process.  Lack of online access affects the elderly, disabled, parents with small children, and other groups. 

We ask the New Jersey Legislature to pass a bill to Mandate online access to county and local governmental meetings where public participation is invited.  This includes, but is not limited to, municipal councils, boards of education, and county Commissioners.
