We urge elected officials to defund the NYPD's $6B FY21 budget by an ADDITIONAL $3B. $1B is simply not enough. There is isn't a justifiable reason why the NYPD is receiving more money than healthcare, education, land preservation, workforce development & public programs for youth COMBINED.This is absurd! If all of these social services can operate on the little money the NYC Council provides, the NYPD can function on $2B. 

We demand the NYC elected officials & Mayor De Blasio defund an additional $3B from the NYPD and reallocate it in the following areas: healthcare services, affordable housing, youth services & development, homeless services, rent relief for COVID-19 renters & home owners, public schools funding in black communities, and small business development, and we demand to see the proposed budget before it is passed to ensure these funds are appropriately distributed.
