On November 20th, Caps Gaming announced that people living in Quebec couldn't participate in their North America NHL20 esport tournament. There was no explanation as to why people who lives in Quebec couldn't participate in this tournament.Caps Gaming prides themselves in developing a competitive scene but limiting the pool of players by excluding one of the best talented spot in Canada and USA is a bit contradictory. Please sign to show your support to this initiative and if you want to see the best talent in ALL North America in Washington.

Quebec Laws

The laws that were restricting us have been changed in 2014-2015 to be more inclusive to Quebecers. It's hard to believe we are excluded because of past rules.

Solution

The solution is pretty simple, Caps Gaming contacts "La Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux" to clarify and to confirm the laws have been changed that if Quebecers win money, Caps Gaming won't be subject to any lawsuit or anything juridical from the government of Quebec.

If there is no solution to allow Quebecers in this tournament, please explain the reasons behind this controversial decision... I think I speak for all of us concerned when I say we feel we are being put on the side for no valuable reason.
