We want to protect Brightwood Park as a natural preserve. We are petitioning the Town of Westfield to prevent the creation of off-road trails for mountain biking. Today, the park is used by local birders, walkers, hikers, and bicyclists. Allowing mountain bike trails in the small 44 acre property will limit the available use for these groups and negatively impact the natural vegetation and species that have come to call the park their home.
