As state government helps gambling venues, pokies venues and clubs with $40 million in funding our cries still fall on deaf ears, There was an announcement yesterday by the state government of victoria that it was putting $40 million into helping pubs, clubs and venues. None of this will be helping Live music or music venues, The Bendigo doesn't qualify for this nor do any music venues I have spoken to so far.
We need more signatures to get them to listen, enough smoke and mirrors if they really care about our music industry they will do something for us.
Music creates unity and harmony, gambling destroys lives ask them why they support industry's which help destroy and not us who create.
