Due to the recent news Governed Holcomb announced earlier today, CGHS will not be resuming classes until after May 1st at the earliest. Prom is on May 2nd, which means whether or not it is happening is uncertain. Support this petition to convince the high school to push back prom to the following Saturday, May 9th, instead of just flat out canceling. Many students have already purchased their dresses or suits and this is the seniors’ last chance at a CGHS event with their fellow classmates before graduation. We urge the high school to consider what this dance means to the students and postpone, not cancel, prom.
