Permanent pedestrianisation of Cotham Hill
Permanent pedestrianisation of Cotham Hill
Why this petition matters
Permanent Pedestrianisation of Cotham Hill.
We have a unique opportunity to create positive change on Cotham Hill through pedestrianisation. This will allow local businesses to thrive, support jobs and stimulate employment. Vitally, it will improve the walking and cycling infrastructure of the street. Most importantly of all, we want to create an area with cleaner air that benefits residents, workers and all who visit.
Without permanent pedestrianisation some businesses will go under and jobs will be lost. We will take a step backwards to a chaotic and sometimes dangerous street which didn’t work for pedestrians, cyclists or motorists. An opportunity to make real and positive change will be lost.
We want to build back better, to invest in an attractive pedestrianisation of Cotham Hill, to create a charming, clean and safe atmosphere for people to enjoy.
