Disney's Fluppy Dogs is a one-hour animated television special that aired on November 27, 1986 on ABC, and was intended to be a pilot for the third Walt Disney Television animated series. The special suffered low ratings and it was cancelled.

It features five pastel-colored, or "fluppy", talking dogs that came through a fluppy interdimensional doorway into the lives of Jamie and his teenage neighbor Claire. The dogs are the prey of the evil mister Wagstaff. He wants the dogs for his collection. While the Fluppies get into some trouble searching for their home.

Animation was supplied by TMS Entertainment, who had previously been contracted by Disney on another current running animated series, Disney's Adventures of the Gummy Bears.

The Music is by Shirley Walker who also made the soundtrack for the Final Destination series. (This is only relevant for a remastered, because sadly Shirley Walker died November 30, 2006 R.I.P )
We think it has really BIG potential, it was just way to early.
In 1986 Science-Fiction was Star Wars & Star Trek.
Disney tried to create a child friendly version of it, and unfortunately it failed.
We think nowadays it would work out fine!
