Why this petition matters

Started by Indus Peace Park Society

What we Want?

  • The creation of the Indus Peace Park on the border of India and Pakistan.

Why?

  • To promote lasting peace, goodwill, and collaboration between the peoples of Pakistan and India.
  • To put a stop to unnecessary loss of life across the border.

How?

  • Create an “Oasis of Peace” where Indians and Pakistanis can celebrate and share their cultures through dialogue, literature, religion, dance, music, history, and art.
  • Memorialize the immense pain and sacrifices of men, women, and children who lost their lives, and those that were sadly displaced during Partition, and
  • Mark 75 years of separation and the beginning of a peaceful and collaborative future.

Who can Make it Happen?

  • The Prime Ministers of Pakistan & of India

Next Steps?

  • We need your support to demonstrate to the leaders of India and Pakistan that there is an overwhelming local, regional, and international commitment and belief that an international peace park can act as a catalyst to facilitate a culture of peace and collaboration between these two great nations.
  • We have considerable support already.  However, the more support we get, the sooner we will reach our goal.
  • Join us on our mission of peace!

Who are We?
