Air Serbia needs to start Chicago-Belgrade nonstop flights
Air Serbia needs to start Chicago-Belgrade nonstop flights
Why this petition matters
This petition is to raise awareness to Air Serbia that new nonstop flight service between Belgrade, Serbia and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport is needed and vital, especially now.
As it stands now on May 17th 2021, there are 4 nonstop flights per week that Air Serbia operates from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Belgrade, Serbia (departures from New York on May 24th, May 27th, May 28th, May 29th).
I have no doubt studies and route analysis have been done at Air Serbia on service to Belgrade in the past. Chicago is the third biggest city with Serbian population after Belgrade and Novi Sad, and much bigger than New York. Air Serbia flies New York-Belgrade with Airbus A330-200 which has a maximum range to fly 13,450km what is more than enough to fly Chicago-Belgrade.
Also, a mid-continent option would allow for greater and easier connection to other countries in Europe as well as Tourism and Business opportunities.
I kindly urge Air Serbia to look into this matter and start nonstop service at least once a week from Chicago to Belgrade.
