Why this petition matters

Started by Private

During the recent Global Covid-19 Pandemic. Australian retail industry failed to react to limit panic buyers on time which is resulting in empty shelves. Baby Formula, Nappies, toilet papers, canned food and even meat.  You can't find these things easily before not going into 3 or 4 stores to try your luck.

Why was there no plan in place for such situations?

Why did these giants allowed the buyers buy bulk?

Why they haven't alloted nation wide time frame for new parents, disabled and elderly people?

I know the stores are loving sales but there are peope who are suffering from all the non-sense.

I demand a law to be in place to force these retailers to respond to issues lile covid-19 in a way where everyone can buy the basic necessity and do not have to visit a lot of stores.
