Negli ultimi sessant’anni, Bussana Vecchia é stata salvata e ricostruita dai suoi abitanti dopo che un terremoto la distrusse nel 1887.
Noi, artisti e artigiani che viviamo e lavoriamo a Bussana Vecchia, l’abbiamo fatta diventare ciò che é oggi: un’oasi di creatività, un posto unico e speciale al mondo.

Tuttavia, recentemente, il demanio ha inviato a tutti gli abitanti delle lettere con delle ingiunzioni di pagamento di migliaia di euro definendoci occupanti abusivi, invece di premiarci per aver ricostruito e tenuto in vita il borgo. La nostra paura é di perdere casa nostra, la casa che abbiamo ricostruito dalle rovine.

Firmare questa petizione ci aiuterà a poter negoziare, in quanto abitanti legittimi, con la città di Sanremo, che avrà dal demanio la totale responsabilità del borgo a partire dal 2018.

Nessuna decisione deve essere presa senza un’attiva partecipazione dei suoi abitanti.

ENGLISH VERSION

During the last sixty years, Bussana Vecchia has been saved and rebuilt by its inhabitants after that an earthquake has destroyed the village in 1887. 

We, the artists and craftsmen who live and work in Bussana Vecchia, made it to what it is today : an oasis of creativity, a unique and special place in the world.

In recent weeks, however, the Italian Department of State Property (Demanio) has send to all the inhabitants settlements of tens of thousands of euros, and calling us ‘occupiers’ instead of praising us for reconstructing the village and keeping it alive.  We fear that we might loose our houses, our homes that we rebuilt from the ruins.

The Italian Department of State Property (Demanio) is planning to transfer the full responsibility for  Bussana Vecchia, starting from 2018, to the City of Sanremo.

Signing our petition will help us negotiate as legal inhabitants with the City of Sanremo and continue as rightful custodians.

No decision must be taken without an ongoing participation of its inhabitants.
