Colorado’s children are being deprived of their rights to a proper education!!  Parents have the right to choose what kind of education is best for their children, not be forced into a homeschool-type situation against their will.

-Recent studies, including those from the CDC, have shown that children need to be in school for their emotional health and learning.  Children with IEPs and 504s and those with mental health issues are especially affected.

-There are currently less than 250 people in the entire state of Colorado who are hospitalized due to coronavirus-related illness.  Studies show that children are least affected by coronavirus and least likely to spread the virus to others.

-Parents are already given the choice to opt for 100% online education.  Obviously, this will make social distancing much easier for the children whose parents choose to opt for in-person learning.

-Suicide rates among teens and preteens are up 600% nationwide since the schools shut down in March.
