There has been those to pretend to be poor, but I don’t think that is fair. Because of that the homeless or poor is ignored for fear that they secretly are rich or because they are alcoholics or drug addicts. They still need your help, they still need to live. If we ignore them they will get weaker and eventually die. That won’t fix our problem, we should still do anything we can so that they live longer to change their ways. If they don’t change their ways at least they won’t die of hunger, thirst, freezing to death, or beaten to death. It just isn’t fair how we treat them, anyone can become homeless in a blink of an eye, no matter how rich they are. Imagine you being poor or homeless, needing help. Would it not be horrible to die slowly and to be ignored, getting attacked by someone for asking for a simple coin or clothing.
