WASD School Board Member, Marc Schefsky is in violation of the Residency Rule and we Taxpayers are requiring his immediate resignation as such. 

Mr Schefsky currently is a resident of Hughesville, PA, boundaries of the East Lycoming School District, as evident by his current mortgage on a home co-owned by his fiancé, Lori Moore. Mr Schefsky recently moved from a leased/rented property in Cogan Station, PA property, which was a temporary address while purchasing the Hughesville,PA property. Prior to this, Mr Schefsky utilized an address of a prior employer, Genetti Hotel on 4th Street in the City of Williamsport as an address, which is where his voters registration is logged. The Voters Registar issue as an elected official comes into question as well with the 2020 election process as both the Cogan Station and the Hughesville address were both being utilized by Mr Schefsky while in his capacity as WASD School Board Member (an elected position within Lycoming County), hence an ethics violation.

For the reasons outlined above, as guided by the PSBA, we the WASD Taxpayers are requiring that the Board hold a special meeting to swiftly vote for the resignation of Mr Schefsky and all votes cast BY Mr Schefsky since his move to Hughesville without disclosure be vacated and all topics be re-voted.
