A federal precedent protecting women's rights to abortion procedures, Roe v. Wade, has been overturned. As a result, numerous states have had previous laws triggered immediately illegalizing abortion, such as in the state of Missouri. Scheduled abortion procedures have already been called off and the world is moving back to the ages where men got to control women’s bodies, completely. We are expected to return to an age when sex was not to occur before marriage, when men solely brought home the bacon, and the woman’s sole purpose was for the man. But we live in a different age now and we still have a chance to save abortion access in Kansas.

Kansas will vote on August 2nd, ultimately determining women's rights to bodily autonomy. All genders deserve gender equality, opportunity, and access. If you believe in equality then you believe in choice. And we as women deserve the right to control our own bodies just like everyone else.
