Petition to bring back the ethnic filter on the Grindr dating app for gay, bisexual, and transgender men.

There is a distinction between racism and one’s sexual attraction. The Ethnic filter is a feature that is used to sort out what ethnic group a person is interested in communicating with for various reasons. The removal of the ethnic filter on Grindr affects the people who use the feature more so than it affects the people who wrongfully believe it to be racist.

On top of a person’s sexual attraction not being racist, it’s hypocritical to label anyone who uses the ethnic filter to seek out what they are looking for racist while websites like BlackPeopleMeet.com are still active and proudly promoting that they receive 1,000s of new members daily.

This is not an attack on websites like BlackPeopleMeet.com, this is simply a fight against anyone who believes that it’s only okay for some people to have a preference but not others. This double standard hypocrisy has to end.

Just like people can’t control the gender they’re attracted to, they can’t control physical characteristics they’re attracted to as well. The removal of this feature was a bad move by the company and they need to listen to voice of those who can’t help what we’re attracted to, as well as those who pay for the premium feature.

You will loose premium paying customers as a result of this  move.

End double standards, end ignorance, and end this race war by making everyone’s sexual attraction rights equal.
