Why this petition matters

Started by Sarah Steel

Coronavirus: Unlawful do not resuscitate orders imposed on people with learning disabilities. Sometimes without family even being consulted.

Decisions on people’s covid treatment that are based on someone having a learning disability are never OK – even one is too many. This has to be stopped.

It is not only illegal but outrageous that a doctor would decide not to save someone just because they have a learning disability. They have the same right to life as anyone else.

These people are entitled to live and have a life. They have family and friends who care for them. This is inhumane act or human cruelty.

I am a single mum who has shielded for over a year !! My daughter Isla has an extremely rare condition called NKH that affects immunity ! This terrifies me !!

WHO ARE THEY TO DECIDE WHO SHALL LIVE !!
