As the population of Hucknall increases due to ongoing and planned housing developments, we will need more bins for litter and dog waste. Hucknall is littered with rubbish, dog fouling (with and without bags). There is a distinct lack of bins, and the local parks and streets are suffering. 

The parks are unkempt and littered with all sorts, including drug paraphernalia and discarded alcohol bottles and cans. Lack of care for the parks and streets is evident and is making the area unclean and unsightly, whilst also damaging local wildlife and posing a huge risk to children and pets. 

We need to hold the council to account, and question where our tax money is going, if it is not going toward keeping our area clean! By signing the petition you're helping to effect change and make Hucknall a better, and cleaner, place for us all to live in and enjoy.

The issue is only going to get worse if there is no intervention, as the lockdown restrictions ease the foot traffic will increase, which in addition to the evergrowing population guarantees that our parks and streets are only going to get dirtier if the council don't provide these essential services.
