During these extraordinarily difficult times for everyone, BT continues to refuse to let customers of BT Sport pause their subscriptions. 

Currently, very little, if any, live sport is been broadcast. Customers should be able to pause their subscriptions until things return to normal. Sky have allowed their customers to do this. We call on BT to do the same.

BT's current approach of inviting customers to telephone them to discuss possible discounts is simply not good enough. Many are unable to get through to speak to someone and this is causing frustration and anger for thousands of customers who are worried about their finances. It is also forcing people to telephone BT at a time when call centres are struggling to cope and should be prioritising vulnerable customers.

BT must:

1) Allow customers on all TV platforms (BT, Sky, Virgin etc) to pause their subscription to BT Sports. This must apply to customers who pay other providers to receive BT Sports.

2) Ensure an online method for Pausing subscriptions is available (Via BT if you pay BT for BT Sport, Via Sky if you pay Sky for BT Sport etc)

3) Ensure that customers who pause BT Sport keep their current discounts and terms.
