Law & Order: Criminal Intent is nearing 20 years since it's premiere in 2001 and 10 years since it's finale in 2011. It's time to bring our favorite duo, Goren & Eames, back to the spotlight! We want to see what our beloved team has been up to and what their life looks like now. 

Fans on Twitter have been talking about Law & Order: Criminal Intent like never before as they imagine how the detectives would react to current events and because they miss the show like crazy.  

This isn't the first time fans have brought back the iconic show. In 2009, after the exit of Goren & Eames in Season 9, a group of devoted fans organized the Saving Goren & Eames Campaign to bring back our detectives for one more season. In 2010, the campaign proved successful and L&O:CI was back for Season 10! 

Vincent D'Onofrio & Kathryn Erbe were delighted with their Season 10 experience and appreciated the love from fans.

Kathryn Erbe told TV Guide in 2011 in regard to coming back after Season 10 ended, "I know that I would be there in a heartbeat. I'm fairly positive that Vincent [D'Onofrio] feels the same way...They (the fans) brought us back. That's clear to me," she says. "The outcry was deafening. So maybe they can do it again?" She adds: "If that happens again, fantastic. It would just be like icing on the cake"  

On Twitter, Vincent D'Onofrio (@vincentdonofrio) is noted as saying, "I'd do a CI movie in (a) second", ".Criminal intent film would be great I think. Tell @UniversalPics - I always loved playing The Detective.", and he implied we could see Goren & Eames back in action if Wolf Films were up to making a small independent film. In May 2023, an article was written describing Vincent D'Onofrio's interest in the show returning, and to which he tweeted, "This is definitely true. Up to you fans and Mr. Wolf. I'd love for Kate and I to return." He also added, "@warrenleightTV people are definitely into this. When we all finally sort all these important issues with the studios maybe it's time to think about this seriously. If the boss @WolfEnt is into it of course. Could be fun." He tweeted to Kathryn Erbe, "Wouldn't it be fun to do a 9 ep season or two @kathryn_erbe", to which she replied, "I would love that Vin @vincentdonofrio@warrenleightTV."

A Law & Order: SVU episode, "Acceptable Loss", featuring Det. Eames, hinted at a new storyline for our two detectives rather than the one set in the Law & Order: CI finale. Whether it was canon or not, it was still disheartening to fans. To safeguard the partnership/friendship of Goren & Eames if they do return, here are three conditions that should be made:

1. Please do not make Goren & Eames be out of contact and separated for 10 years

2. Please do not kill Goren or Eames off

3. Please keep Goren & Eames together even until after the show ends (ie., don't move them to different states and break their contact; don't introduce love interests that separate them)

We've been given multiple signs so let's come together just like before to let know Dick Wolf/Wolf Films that we want more Criminal Intent!
