We Need More Funding For Small Businesses.  

The ~$350 Billion earmarked for small businesses in the CARES Act is all dried up and a ton of Small Businesses that really need the money from the PPP and EIDL have been left out of the process, and they need additional appropriations now.  Self-Employed Individuals and Independent Contractors were told to wait until April 10th to apply for the PPP, and even continued to get guidance for the amount of money they could receive all the way until April 13th.  On April 16th, the money was gone because large businesses like the Ruth's Chris Steak House parent gobbled up Millions in the aide ($20 million to be exact).   

Here in Indiana Independent Contractors and Self-Employed Individuals still cannot get the Federal Unemployment Benefit of $600 per week due to our systems not being set up (not trying to blame our DWD, just making a point).  So our innovators and entrepreneurs are being left out again.  

Congress new this was most likely going to happen and yet they continue to squabble.  Just get over your egos, put your adult pants on and come back to the table because entire livelihoods are at stake.
