On November 11, 2019, I was hit by drunk driver Daniel Ariola case VA 153650, resulting in a devastating spinal injury that put me in a rollator for eight months and still affects my health and mobility. Deputy DA Jennifer Macdonald said that he would not see jail time nor have a felony DUI on his record. This man's poor choice resulted in a spinal injury I will have to live with for the rest of my life, and the California DA wants him to be free to do it to someone else.
