The (Colt) Navy Revolver is an essential part of firearms history. It was extensively used in the American Civil War, and its aesthetically comparable predecessors were used in the Mexican-American War. Red Dead Redemption 2 and its online counterpart (mostly) take place in the United States, on the American frontier, and near the Mexican-American border. The Navy has also been featured in numerous iconic movies (ex: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly) It is in RDR Online, but not RDR2 story mode. We understand that Rockstar games is simply trying to promote RDR Online; however, there are plenty of us who willingly choose against playing online mode, and many of us who cannot play online due to glitches in Rockstar’s servers. There are plenty of other ways for Rockstar to promote online mode, like the endless character customization options, online-exclusive horses and missions, and a special version of the Navy Revolver. Many of us fans of RDR2 are fans of general history, american history, and firearms history, and would love to see the Navy Revolver available in Story Mode (single player) just as it is in Online mode. We will not be content with just the aforementioned special Navy, but rather with the standard customizable Navy, or both.
