In the upcoming SciFi show APPLE is currently producing, some key characters have been re-conceived as women of color albeit being males in Asimov legacy.

While color of skin isn't an issue at all and is welcome, change of sex does not represent Asimov vision nor FOUNDATION, which is the mother of inspiration for most modern SciFi movies & TV Shows.

We the people who are paying to watch your show, we think ASIMOV's legacy has to be protected & secured.

By moving Foundation key characters from one gender to another, you Apple writers & show directors, aren't respecting Asimov's legacy.

Respecting your audience wishes is what you are bound to achieve when you expect to tell a story based on Asimov's vision of the future.

Changing key characters gender from the most epic SciFi novels of all time is not only discutable, but we can't imagine another reason behind this move than some political "women rights" debate that has nothing to do with SciFi.

Anything SciFi is nonpolitical.
And if writers & directors need proof, they should just look at how "Ghostbusters: Answer the Call (2016)" was a fail for the exact same reason.
