In NYC there are literally thousands of small business owners who may have to shut their doors permanently due to a temporary situation resulting in them not being able to provide for their children

 For example a jewelry store is safely able to open by allowing 1 or 2 customers in the store and sanitizing and wearing gloves , but according to the state that is not essential.

Small clothing stores that sell seasonal goods cant open safely with limited numbers of people inside and proper PPE , but no they cant because the state thinks that they are not essential. 

This is wrong on so many levels 

1.targets and walmarts can open without an issue but these small business are deemed dangerous , the problem with that is it is actually safer to have it open because it will cause less crowding in big box stores

2. Many of these small businesses are going to go out of business directly because of the state not even willing to negotiate this means that their children will have bad futures it's amazing that someone can work for 15 years to make a business and then tho govornment can shut it down and not pay for it where were you guys for the last 15 years? You didn't help make the business but all of the sudden you think you have the right to shut it down like that we all care about loosing lives but opening buissiness saves lives in 2 ways 1. Stores are less crowded 2.there are are ways to die other than covid-19 did you know that the suicide hotline traffic went up %1000  drug usage and alchahol use is gonna sky rocket this is doing so much damage and will do so much in the future we all appreciate the sanctiety of life but there is death on the other side too  the media don't like reporting about this alot because they all have secure jobs so, if you agree with this mission sign the petition, leave a comment, and share with all your families and friends lives depend on this
