Why this petition matters

Started by Erik Revier

Andrew Yang was the most "Human" candidate available for the 2020 Democratic Primaries. His ideas included UBI, Democracy Dollars, Healthcare for all with the option to stay with your private insurance, bringing back nuclear power, legalizing marijuana, releasing and pardoning all non-violent low level drug offenders from prison, eliminating the penny, law enforcement and prison reforms, common sense gun rights with an evergreen gun buyback for anyone looking to get rid of guns they have, and around 150 other common sense and generally good idea policies.

His ability to bring both Democrats and former Republicans under his banner of Humanity First was something that hasn't been seen in politics for a very long time. It was very clear from his followers that if he was the Democratic Nominee, then he would be the next President of the United States.

Andrews Campaign suffered from him having too many good ideas and not enough exposure for the public to learn of these good policies. The media labeled him as the UBI/Free money candidate without explaining why it's a good idea or where that money was coming from. This painted Andrew as another "fantasy" candidate that was trying to buy your vote and it overshadowed the other 150+ policies that he had put together.

With Andrews public suspension of his campaign he now has more media attention than ever before and the YangGang (his supporters) has grown now more than ever. I think Andrew needs to call out the big media publicly, explain to Americans what his campaign has that the others don't and re-enter the Democratic Race.
