This is a petition which stands to propose that a formal Student Union or Student Interest Group be created under the regional CARICOM Secretariat and CXC.

The formation of this union is being proposed as a solution for the current situation at hand, where many students feel as though they have been "cheated" or unfairly marked upon the release of the 2020 CXC examination results, as they do not reflect their typical standard of performance in these exams and an explanation or official address has yet to put forward by the CXC. Therefore, the purpose of this Student Union would be at as a common student representative and oversee and resolve any similar issues in the future with the interests, wellbeing, EDUCATIONAL CONCERNS and PROTECTION of regional students as the main priority. 

By signing this petition you agree that a regional Student Union or Interest Group is necessary for Caribbean students to protect their academic interests going forward. You also agree that there needs to be a direct or indirect means of communication between students sitting CXC exams and the CXC preferably in the form of this proposed Union.
