We the undersigned hereby affirmed, register our opposition to the Somerset County Council's proposed plans regarding how they would re-structure our education system in the Ilminster/Crewkerne district.

We have numerous grave concerns including (but not limited to):

• Concerns about the impact these changes will have on the social and mental well-being of students.
• Particular concerns regarding students with SEND and how their needs will be accommodated.
• Concerns as to whether performance levels will suffer when schools are subjected to such major changes.
• Concerns about the school structures we will be left with.
• Concerns about continued lack of transport.
• Environmental concerns.
• Concerns about the ramifications on towns due to these changes, both community wise and economically.

We believe there are better, less disruptive and less risky solutions to solving the problems identified by the local authority, than the proposals put forward by the SCC.
