Currently, there is a heated anger and debate for Nepal’s Kalapani – Limpiyadhura - Lipulekh area, at the western side of Nepal. Many Nepalese around the world feel India has encroached Nepal’s Territory in the region, published India’s map that includes Nepal’s territory in the region without consulting the Nepalese side and treating its small, historically brave and Sovereign border with neglect. This is offending the patriotic Nepali people around the world and they are united to voice their concern and demand India to back off from the unauthorised encroachment in the Nepalese territory.

Lipulekh (elevation 5,200 m or 17,060 ft) is a Nepal's Himalayan Land - pass on the border between India's Uttarakhand state and the Tibet region of China, near their trijunction with Nepal. Nepal is the real owner of teritorry called Kalapani territory, which is encroached by India, A totally wrong doing of India, Globally Condemn-able.  

The Nepalese protests regarding the Kalapani territory started in 1997, after India and China agreed to reopen the Lipulekh pass. historically with evidence, Nepal claims all the area up to the Kalapani river. The Nepalese maps show this area, measuring 35 square kilometres, as part of Nepal's Darchula District.
