Many St. Paul residents are frustrated and losing confidence of our local leaders, especially with the trash referendum and the demolition of St. Andrews church. It is essential that our leaders serve our city with honesty and integrity, or otherwise seeds of distrust will spread.

For this reason, let's demand our current leaders to take the ProTruth Pledge, which encourages truth-oriented behaviors, protect facts, and civility. The pledge changes the incentive structure for public figures to promote truth-telling instead of lying.

As a city councilmember candidate/activist for Ward 1, I have signed the pledge and will serve my constituents with honesty and integrity. However, the efficacy of my role is dependent on my peers. So, I encourage other candidates to do the same. Lets rebuild trust in our community together.
