Why this petition matters

Started by Carrie Sanders

A former sex-trafficker, "Professor Willhelm", is accessing and purchasing nude photos of internet sex workers on their subscription-only pages, stalking them to obtain their personal information. This information, including their parents' names, church communities, and employment information, is then used to allow Willhelm to distribute the nude photos of these young women to their parents, family, employer, and church. Willhelm believes his actions to be legal, as he paid for the subscription and obtained the photos with permission, however this is considered 'revenge porn', which is the distribution of sexually explicit images and videos without the subject's permission. Willhelm does this to humiliate and cause emotional damage to these women, many of whom become suicidal as a result of the violation. Additionally, Willhelm has also requested the woman make a video specifically for him, in which she's instructed to promise him that she'll remove the content, while kneeling for him. Willhelm claims that he is "helping" these women out of sex work, but he is terrorizing and creating massive amounts of emotional and, possibly, financial damage. Willhelm posts screenshots of the correspondence between him and his victim's, in which each victim is devastated by the privacy breech. Willhelm is operating under the Twitter handle, @ProfessWillhelm. The Twitter account has gained a large amount of largely male followers, inspiring many of them to follow in his footsteps and prey upon these women. Internet sex workers are breaking no laws, they do not create victims by engaging in sex work, and as an adult woman who is able to make her own choices, chooses to earn money this way. We need your help to get this predator shut down as soon as possible so the damage he is inflicting is not allowed to continue. Tell Twitter to remove this account and ban Willhelm and his followers from repeating this behavior.
