Sense8 is a Netflix drama series that changed the lives of millions. The heart of the story being the fully realized and diverse cast of characters and the story and themes revolving around love, acceptance and community. Sense8 was and continues to this day to be Netflix’s magnum opus. The most revolutionary and influential show to come out of the juggernaut streaming giant, yet for some reason after 3 years the company has yet to release a Blu Ray release for the series. It is currently June 2021 and pride month has become synonymous with this show so much that it’s simply perplexing that Netflix has given many of its other shows and films blu ray releases but not this one. This show changed the lives of millions, mine included. It opened my heart and made me feel loved, accepted, and happy to be alive. Physical media is a corner stone of the entertainment industry and there are many others out there who would love to bring their cluster home with them in stunning blu ray quality. The LGBTQ community being one, and collectors of great art being another.
